John Anderson Pub. Co., established in Chicago in 1866, published
books and newspapers in Norwegian. Only one T. S Arthur title was
produced by Anderson: Ti Netter i en Skjenkestue og Hvad Jeg Der
Jaa (Ten Nights in a Bar Room and What I Saw There).
This reprint has green cloth with gold gilt lettering on the spine
and cover. This firm published editions in 1898, 1903 and 1908.
There are eight line drawn illustrations including the
frontispiece. 7" x 5".

The eight illustrations include seven of the more common pictures
which were first noted in the Potter reprints. The frontispiece
however is slightly different from the usual Van Ingen
illustration. Since the name of the Tavern, Sickle and Sheaf, is
spelled out in Norwegian, I suspect that this illustration was
modified from the original frontispiece specifically for this
reprint.
